Based on the developing storyline, there are eight races to select from, and five of those are taken.  That leaves: halfing, Gree, and the newly added Avariel (winged Elf).

I may add another one or two.

A note that there is no ECL in 5th edition.  To the best I can tell, races simply are not equal and are not intended to be.

Thank you Zunder.  I will work on the Avoral stats.  This wizard choices are Universal Wizard, which is described in our forum, and all of the specialty wizards from the players' handbook.  No need to choose that quick as the work is all complete.

So we have on our playtest list:

Human, Elf, Night Elf, Avariel, Mountain Dwarf, Nipit

Wizard, Monk, Cleric (A'A), Sorcerer (bloodline chosen), Warlock (patron chosen), Fighter, Bard and Rogue.

I am removing for storyline purposes the Halflings as a race for the playtest.

So for the two of you that have not chosen, the races are: Pale Gnome and Gree...for now.

Also, we will be using the point buy system for ability scores from the PHB for the playtest.  I will however, allow scores higher than 15 and lower than 8.

What's the cost for ability scores above 15 and below 8?

17 is 14 points
18 is 17 points

a 7 gives you 1 point
a 6 gives you 2 points

Race options still open are: Tyrag, Gree, and Pale Gnome.  Additionally, I will allow a second human since there are two distinct human communities.

Windblade will not be able to participate in the playtest, so his choices of Warlock and Night Elf are not available if anyone would like to switch.
