"Get out. All of you. None of you have authority here, and impulsive actions, illegal divination spells, and inquisitive prodding of the evil artifact will only make this worse. If you are not a suspect, constable, deputy or governor, you need to leave the premises. Immediately."

To the assembled Falan clergy: "Your resistance implies guilt. If you are truly innocent of any wrong doing, the investigation will prove that.  Resist, and what do you achieve? You will kill an Icefian official, become a wanted criminal in the Kingdom, and alienate your religion. There is no way out of this that leaves you clean. Surrender now, and let the process take its course."

Where is Cydney in all of this?

Shaar remarks.. " It would be unwise to be here alone Lord Governer with all this evil around, let me stay here and do my job guarding you"

Parker looks at Ari somewhat incredulous.  He shrugs and begins to take his leave.  As he does he can be heard mumbling, "No authority?.....actually on a mission from god..well, one or two of them anyway......stress is finally getting to him........cracked......"

Parker stops by Escalon and makes arrangements for the sword, telling him to send word to VJ and Jurrius when he is on his way so that they know to expect him and so the Furious Guardian doesn't go on an accidental rampage.

Cydney appears to be in shock since being ressurected.

The assembled followers of Falan look on in confusion. A group of three, including Gavin, huddle together for a moment.

A woman, likely half elven, says: "There will be no violence but we will not leave willingly. Carry us out if you must but if you leave this place defenseless the consequences are yours alone."

The clerics unbuckle their swords and pile them near the benches where the choir stood. They all then sit down on the floor.

The bladelords leave quietly.

Wilar says quietly to Ari, "speak with me before this goes any further".

Do not speak to me of consequences. I take responsibility for my actions. Perhaps you should try doing the same.

Constables, clear the scene.

The bladelords leave quietly.
Nope. The blade lords are not permitted to leave. They are to be detained along with the clerics.

Wilar says quietly to Ari, "speak with me before this goes any further".
What.

This causes confusion. Do you want everyone detained or do you want everyone out?

Thaddeus looks at Parker incredulously but then he remembers how much coin he owes Parker and shrugs..."Not sure but couldn't hurt to take a look."

Argh. Suspects stay. Everyone else leaves. Bladelords + clerics = suspects. Do I need to write this down?

Parker, I swear by all that is holy that if you touch one more f**king thing in this place I will have Astrek remove you from the premises in bite-sized pieces.

Asinjin picks up through the telepathic link Ari's thoughts of resigning his position. It is only his desire for vengeance that is keeping him from quitting immediately.
